Terms and conditions for travel – paxa
These terms and conditions for use relate to the services linked to the Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län “paxa Din Tur” app. All travel, regardless of the sales channel, is covered by our terms and conditions for travel, see https://www.dintur.se/navigation/praktiska-fragor/ for the terms and conditions applying to paxa.
Passenger categories
The following age categories apply regardless of whether or not a discounted ticket option is offered.
Child aged 0–6:
This category refers to children up to their seventh (7) birthday. A maximum of two children under the age of 7 may travel free of charge accompanied by a paying passenger. Additional children, as well as unaccompanied children under the age of 7, must purchase a child ticket.
Child aged 7–19:
This category refers to young persons from the age of seven (7) up to their twentieth (20) birthday.
Young person aged 20-25:
Young person refers to young persons from the age of twenty (20) up to their twenty-sixth (26) birthday.
Adult aged 26-64:
Adult refers to persons from the age of 26 up to their sixty-fifth (65) birthday.
Senior aged 65+:
Senior refers to persons aged sixty-five (65) and over.
Passengers must be able to show a valid photo ID in the case of any doubt concerning age.
Validity of tickets
A ticket must be activated before boarding or at the time of boarding in order to be valid. A copy of a ticket, such as a photo or screenshot, is not a valid travel document.
The terms and conditions for Din Tur tickets purchased in the Din Tur app are set out below.
Tickets
You must have a valid ticket in order to travel with paxa Din Tur. Din Tur’s standard range of tickets are valid on board.
You can purchase tickets using the Din Tur app, via the online shop at dintur.se, at one of the Din Tur sales points or on board the bus using a debit card.
Showing tickets
All tickets must be shown when boarding paxa. This applies regardless of whether the ticket is in the Din Tur app, is printed on paper or is linked to a plastic card.
Situations may arise whereby the ticket reader is unable to read cards or tickets. The passenger must then show the ticket to the driver or member of staff on board.
Ticket inspections
Din Tur carries out regular ticket inspections on services. At any time throughout the journey, the passenger must be able to show a valid ticket that can be inspected by machine as well as any additional documents such as ID. The passenger is responsible for finding out which ticket is required for the journey and for activating and validating (scanning) the ticket when boarding. When travelling on a discounted ticket, you must always be able to prove that you are entitled to the discount.
In the event of an inspection, you, the passenger, must show your ticket to the ticket inspector. By law, you may be charged a penalty fare if you are unable to show a valid ticket and any additional documents during a ticket inspection. The penalty fare is SEK 1,500, plus the price of the journey in question.
If you have a ticket in the Din Tur app, you are responsible for ensuring, throughout the journey, that the battery of your mobile phone is sufficiently charged, that you have a working internet connection and that your mobile phone is in a condition that enables machine validation to take place.
User account
If you create an account by registering in the paxa Din Tur app, you agree to these full terms and conditions for use. Please note that you must also confirm that you have read our privacy policy before you use the paxa Din Tur app.
The service is provided through mobile apps for iOS and Android.
You are provided with the standard version of the service free of charge.
You are responsible for any service fees charged by your telecom operator for sending or receiving data and/or messages during registration and when using the services.
License
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län grants you, through your acceptance of the terms and conditions for use, a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to install and use the paxa Din Tur app on any mobile device you own or control.
The license may be revoked by Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions.
Your right to use the paxa Din Tur app presupposes that you have personally accepted our terms and conditions for use. Your right to use the paxa Din Tur app ceases if the terms and conditions between you and Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län cease to apply.
All intellectual property rights, such as technical solutions regarding the services, belong to Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län or third parties with which Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län collaborates. Such content includes text, illustrations, graphics, logos, button icons, videos, images, databases, software, source code and similar.
You may only use the intellectual property rights within the framework of the services. The passenger is therefore not entitled to alter the services in any way, copy, adapt, rent out, lend, sell, sublicense or otherwise distribute or transfer the contents of the services.
Availability and blocking of the service
The service provided by the paxa Din Tur app is open from 06.00 to 21.00 on weekdays, except public holidays, from 10.00 to 18.00 on Saturdays and from 10.00 to 16.00 on Sundays in Sundsvall. In Sollefteå, the service is open from 06.00 to 21.00 on weekdays, except public holidays, and from 10.00 to 21.00, with a break from 15:00 to 16:30, on Saturdays. If a weekend day falls on the day before a public holiday, the service is not available for booking. The earliest you can book your journey is on the day before the day of departure.
Although Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län endeavours to provide the service without any technical disruption, Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län is unable to guarantee that the service will always be fully available or that it will work without any faults. If Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län intends to carry out scheduled interruptions in the service due to updates, improvements, maintenance or similar measures, you will be informed of the scheduled interruption or any disruption caused by it.
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län also reserves the right to block your access to the service in whole or in part and without prior notice if you are suspected of:
- making unauthorised use of another person’s login details;
- allowing another person’s login details to be used without authorisation;
- using the services in breach of the terms and conditions for use or using or intending to use the service in breach of applicable legislation (for example, fraud, carrying out false purchases, providing false information or similar); or
- using the service in a way that may cause damage to Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län or a third party;
- making 5 bookings in the service that you do not use.
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län also has the right to block your access to the service on the basis of technical security grounds or other grounds if such is considered necessary in order to protect the interests of Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län, a third party or other parties.
Transfer
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län is entitled to transfer its rights and obligations under the terms and conditions for use in whole or in part without your prior consent.
Personal data and cookies
It is necessary to collect and process some personal data at the moment when Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län provides the paxa Din Tur service.
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län is the data controller for the processing of the personal data that you, as a passenger, supply to Din Tur, for example when registering for an account within the framework of the services, or otherwise supply via the services (for example, location services).

Amendment of terms and conditions
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län reserves the right to unilaterally carry out amendments and additions to these terms and conditions for use and to services at any time.
Amendments to terms and conditions due to any law, regulation or decision by a public authority may be announced by Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län with immediate entry into force.
Term of the agreement and notice of termination
Any agreement entered into between you and Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län is valid for the duration of the journey or until further notice as long as you are using any of the services.
You can give notice of termination of the agreement for the paxa Din Tur app with immediate effect at any time. Notice of termination is given by complying with the instructions in the service or by e-mail registrator@dintur.se.
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län is entitled to terminate the service immediately and without giving notice in writing if you use the service in breach of the provisions set out in the terms and conditions for use. Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län is also entitled to give notice of termination of the agreement in accordance with this paragraph if you have not been active in the service for a period of two years, provided that you have not paid for the service for a longer period.
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län’s liability and limitations of liability
The services in the paxa Din Tur app are provided “as is” and you are responsible for the use of the services and the mobile device, software or other equipment required to enable the services to be used.
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län is not responsible for any damage arising from your use of the services in breach of the terms and conditions for use or because you have failed to comply with the specific terms and conditions established by the software store.
Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län gives no guarantees relating to the services and their contents or functions and nor is it liable under any circumstances for any technical problems that may arise at third parties due, for example, to problems with internet access, technical problems at payment service providers, technical problems with the passenger’s mobile device or similar.
Contradictory terms and conditions
If there are any terms and conditions in the terms and conditions for use of the paxa Din Tur app and the terms and conditions for travel that are contradictory to what is stated in other information channels, the contents of the terms and conditions for use and the terms and conditions for travel take precedence as far as interpretation is concerned.
Disputes
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions must be settled in accordance with Swedish law and before a Swedish general court.
In the event of any dispute with a private individual, Kommunalförbundet Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten i Västernorrlands län complies with the recommendations of the National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN).
