New app and an upgraded ticketing system
Information about the transition to the new ticketing and payment system.
New national standard
Din Tur is upgrading its ticketing and payment system to align with a new national standard, aiming to facilitate seamless travel across counties. This initiative is a collaboration with Länstrafiken Jämtland, Länstrafiken Västerbotten, Skellefteåbuss, Luleå Lokaltrafik, and Länstrafiken Norrbotten.
Key Dates to Remember:

March 10, 2025: Sales of new green travel cards commence at select sales points. The system will be updated progressively, with all sales points expected to offer and reload the new green travel cards by March 17. Consequently, old cards will no longer be sold or reloaded after this date.

Until April 13, 2025: You can receive a complimentary new travel card when reloading at a sales point.

From March 11, 2025: Access the ”Mina sidor” (My Pages) portal to order travel cards (cost: 50 SEK) and manage tickets, including transferring between cards and the app or gifting tickets to other registered users. A link to this portal will be available from March 11.

March 31, 2025: This is the last day to reload current travel cards onboard buses. After this date, reloading will not be possible onboard; only single tickets can be purchased using payment cards.
Traveling by Train:
When traveling by train with Din Tur tickets, you must carry a product overview along with your new travel card. This document verifies your ticket on the travel card. The requirement for the product overview is effective from March 17, 2025, and can be printed at any of our sales points.
Utilizing Remaining ”Reskassa” (Travel Funds):
You can continue to use your existing Reskassa/travel funds until the current ticketing and payment system is replaced, at which point the old cards will no longer be valid.
Avoid Card Replacement – Use the App:
By using the Din Tur app, you can avoid replacing your travel card. The app allows you to search for journeys, purchase tickets, receive traffic information, and find the nearest stop. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
What the Ticketing and Payment System Upgrade Entails:
The transition is occurring in phases:
- December 2023: Launch of the new app.
- January 2025: Introduction of the School Card Portal.
- Winter/Spring 2025: Implementation of the new ticketing and payment system, including new green travel cards and ”My Pages” (Mina sidor).
Continue Using the App
- Travelers using the app can continue without interruption during and after the system transition.
